Happy New Year!
The New Year stretches before us like a blank piece of paper, it's a clean slate, a new beginning, a fresh start. I love the new year as it provides an impetus to set new goals, to take stock, and to consider what we would like to change or how we would like to grow. What will your "New Year's Renewal" look like? Consider Spiritual goals -join a small group or Read the Bible in a Year; Mental goals -learn a new skill or take a class; Emotional/Relational goals -maybe work on a strained relationship or address a personal issue; Physical goals -eating habits or new exercise regime. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed."
It has been said that "no one can go back and start a new beginning but anyone can start today and make a new ending." How is the Lord speaking to you for 2016?
