Scripture reminds us to remember the words of our Lord Jesus who said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35 There are many ways in which we can give, we can give our tithes and offerings, and we can give of our time and talents. But in all things remember that all that we have comes from God and belongs to God and to be a good steward of what we have been given.
Stewardship begins and ends with the understanding of God's ownership of all. It refers to the way time, talents, material possessions, or wealth are used or given for the service of God. "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it." Psalm 24:1
