Prayer Until Something Happens - this week's prayer items...
- Please join us in the Union Church Sanctuary for a very special evening of prayer at 7:30PM on Monday, 3 October. Join us to pray about personal, professional, Hong Kong issues, global issues and persecuted Christians. Join us to pray about Union Church, The Body of Christ, Building Union for the Future. Bring a friend to spread the Power of Prayer.
- Give praise for The Alpha Course introductory sessions this past week: praise for those who attended and those who signed up to participate in the course. Pray that interested parties who may have missed the introductory sessions will still attend the course if they feel called towards Alpha.
- Pray for those who are unwell - pray for healing and for the pastoral care team who support them.
- Pray for those seeking the Lord, that they encounter a beautiful world, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run; and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
- Pray for the Union Church Missions Trips taking place next week. Pray also for Christian missionaries around the world. Pray that missionaries have the wisdom to effectively demonstrate Christ cross-culturally. Pray for good health, safety, stamina and finally, pray too that missionary's lives will provide an excellent model for local Christians and the unsaved.
