Prayer Until Something Happens - this week's prayer items...
- Pray for an easing of tensions in conflict zones, specifically the Korean Peninsula. Pray for wisdom and discernment for all civilian and military leaders of the various countries involved. Pray that God will prevent any errors being made that could lead to warfare. Pray, too, for the people of the region. Pray for freedom, justice and peace for those in the North, and for safety for those in both North and South. Pray that God will guide to a resolution the broader power struggles involving China, its Pacific neighbours, and the US.
- Pray for a world of hurting people. Pray that they experience the joy of being Christ’s people and that the Lord work deep into their lives and reveal more of himself to them, and to us who would stand with them and encourage them. Pray for those who are sick or have loved ones who are sick.
- Give praise for the church activities that have taken place this year. Pray for on-going activities at Union Church: pray for participation, continued engagement and that people are greatly blessed by the various events and programs. Pray for (and join us!) the Town Hall meeting taking place on Wednesday, 26th April at 7:30 pm to learn more about the move to Sunlight Tower.
