Prayer Until Something Happens - this week's prayer items...
- Give praise for those who are coming forward for prayer following the various Union Church services. If you seek prayer, please join one of the intercessors following the church service. Union Church will hold a Special Evening of Prayer on Monday, 27 February from 7:30 - 9 PM. Please join us to pray for Union Church, our congregants, and other global prayer issues.
- Pray for Chris and Barbara Yorks who are back in the US after Chris' mother passed away earlier this week. Pray comfort and peace for Chris, Barb and their family as they say good-bye and celebrate the life of an extraordinary women whose life spanned almost a full century."The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18
- Pray for the upcoming AGM on Saturday, 11 March 2017 and people prayerfully reflect on the best way to be stewards of the spiritual home provided to us by God through Union Church. Pray also for Joint Leadership Meetings taking place in the lead up to the AGM.
- Pray for those in career transition, especially those who have lost their jobs. Pray that as people face challenges over their own resources, we are reminded to share what we have. Pray that people are inspired to live in a Christ-like way and to bring the Lord's peace to a world in turmoil. Give praise for those who have overcome various ailments and illnesses.
