Prayer Until Something Happens - this week's prayer items....
Those affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Pray that somehow good things come of this disaster and that people find comfort in the Lord. Pray upon the Philippines, "For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." 2 Corinthians 5:1
Encouragement! Regardless of people's circumstances or situation, through scripture and prayer encourage people "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." Romans 15:13
For those battling illness, pray "O God, the source of all health, so fill the hearts of those unwell with faith in your love, that with calm expectancy they may make room for your power to possess them and gracefully accept your healing, through Jesus Christ our Lord."
