Prayer Until Something Happens - this week's prayer items...

  • Pray for the Payne family (Grace and George) as they mourn the loss of their mother, Eugenie Payne, who passed away the morning of Friday, 9 March. Eugenie and her late husband Edward Payne (former Union Church Deacon) were long time, much loved members of Union Church. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18

  • Pray that people learn to put God first, at the centre of their lives. Pray that realise by putting God first, things will fall into place. Pray that people realise by putting God first; they do not have to worry about tomorrow – for tomorrow will worry for itself. Pray that people see greatness even in the littlest of things; but most importantly to not question their own beauty in the midst of appreciating beauty around them. Pray that people are more gentle with themselves and others. Pray that they understand that even seemingly little progress amounts to progress.

  • Pray for peace and calm during a variety of disturbing world events. Pray against rampant human trafficking in Nigeria and Libya, with kidnappings of young women continuing regularly. Pray for the family and friends of the recent plane crash victims in Nepal that resulted in the deaths of 49 and many others injured.

  • The Special Prayer Event at 22A Kennedy Road has been re-scheduled to Sunday, 25 March at 2:30PM. At that time here will be a special prayer event at the 22A Kennedy site. Those attending the prayer session will be granted access to the area immediately behind the church where Sunday school was held. If you would like to attend this session, please register by emailing Charles Caldwell at Once you have registered, further instruction on where to gather will be sent.
