Prayer Until Something Happens - this week's prayer items...
- Pray for the Union Church Missions Trips taking place this week: the Youth and Bawing mission trips to the Philippines and the trip to Cambodia. Pray for all to be blessed by the experiences and for all to be protected with safe travel.
- Pray for local missions in Hong Kong, specifically the Hong Kong Church Network for the Poor and the 10/10/10 initiative. Pray that people will read and absorb the Simple Living Handbook and prayerfully give to those less fortunate. “But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents. Calling His disciples to Him, Jesus said, ‘Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.’ “ Mark 12:42-43
- Pray for Union Church to be a prayerful church. “Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.” Colossians 4:2 Give praise for answered prayer and pray fervently for everyone and everything.
- Give praise for the church activities that have taken place this year and pray also for activities being newly launched in the coming weeks. Pray for participation, continued engagement and that people are greatly blessed by the various events and programs. Pray for continued momentum as the Alpha Course gains speed.
- Pray for the BUFF (Building Union For the Future) project and leaders. Pray for unity, discernment and open doors in accordance with God’s will.
