Our goal is for each unique child of God to grow as Jesus grew: in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and others.  (Luke 2:52) 

We teach God’s saving grace in Christ Jesus to the end that one day each child may profess Christ as savior and live in relationships that reflect his lordship over their lives. 

• expect God to speak to them through the Holy Spirit acting on the Scriptures;
  
• live in joyful response to the Good News found in the Scriptures;
• and know they belong in the midst of people who identify with the Scriptures.

We teach the love of God through the gifts of skilled teachers, who in their classrooms

• build caring relationships;
• create praying communities;
• and influence children to live lives of grateful obedience to God.

We teach for the long haul.  Jesus said, “Everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.  The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on rock.” (Matthew 7:24-25)
