Dear Parents,

It is with regret that we are writing to inform you that the Union Church Playgroup will be closed until the Autumn term begins on September 1st.  This decision is in line with the Education Bureau who has stated the following: 

“To prevent the spread of human swine influenza on school premises, classes of all kindergartens, kindergartens cum child care centres, primary schools (including private independent schools, international schools and English Schools Foundation schools) and special schools (except those Schools for Social Development with secondary section only) which were suspended will not be resumed in this particular school year.”

For those parents whose checks were already cashed for the July/August sessions, you will be contacted to find out if you would like to use the funds towards September, or receive a refund.  All other checks received but not cashed will be returned in August when our administrator returns to Hong Kong.

Registration for the September term will begin after August 1st.  All registration forms received by August 25th will receive a 10% early registration discount, so be sure to download the form and send it in by the 25th.

We pray that you all have a safe and healthy summer and we look forward to seeing you again in the Fall.
